CDL children parade for Halloween

If you see short little ghosts or monsters on campus-don’t be afraid-it’s just the Child Development Lab’s annual Halloween Parade. The children of the CDL will be strolling along campus on Friday, Oct. 30 parading their costume for many to see. The children are scheduled to leave from Mathews-Daniel Hall around 9:30 a.m. and parade around the Quad and through the basement of Derryberry Hall, the main level of the UC and return to Mathews-Daniel Hall around 11 a.m.

“We ask parents to participate if they’d like to come walk with their children,” said Debbie Gunnels, CDL Tech Assistant. “Several of our staff will dress in costumes as well.”

Various Departments will stand outside and give Halloween candy to the approximately 56 children who may participate. Everyone is invited to watch the parade and all the tiny ghouls that come with it.
