New additions have been added on to Tech’s campus for the 2009-2010 school years. Dining services including the cafeteria and Swoops are located in the Roaden University Center. And Outtakes is located in the Maddux/McCord dormitory. But this month, two new dining areas are scheduled to open on campus.
In the near future there will be another Outtakes which will be located on the second floor of the fitness center. It will open from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and close Friday through Sunday.
“It would be good for me to have Outtakes at the fitness center because it’s more convenient to have everything I need in one place,” Jackie Walker, a freshman nursing student said. “You don’t have to walk across campus to get to Outtakes when it is right there in the fitness center.”
Another aspect to on campus dining has been a new Mondo Subs opening in the library as an addition to the Cool Beans Café. It will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
