The Oracle is seeking applicants for the Web Editor position. Your resume and a letter of intent are due Oct. 12 at 4 p.m. to Mrs. Eva Dingwall (RUC 364). Please include journalism and web design courses you may have taken or are currently taking in your letter. The position will be announced after an interview process.
Job description: The web editor is responsible for publishing each week’s stories, photos and supplemental content, including polls, the virtual issue, and more on the Oracle’s website (tntechoracle.com) through the College Publisher interface. The preferred candidate should have strong communication skills, a good work ethic and the ability to understand basic html and css.
The majority of the workload occurs on Thursday evenings after the Oracle has been sent to the printing press (approx. 8 p.m. – midnight or later).
