Bonnaroo goes virtual

The Farm, located in Manchester, Tennessee looks a little different this year. The grass is still green, untrampled by 80,000 people, but the bands are still hard at play. No High-Five Friday shared with music fans from all over the world.

This year’s Bonnaroo festival, called ROO-ALITY, will be held as a livestream on Youtube from September 24 – 26, beginning at 4:30 p.m. each day.

Over 45 bands such as Metallica, Jack White, and the 2015 radio-hit Charlie XCX will be performing virtually from Great Stage Park. From funk artists like Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, to Run The Jewels’ iconic hip-hop sound, to the soul of Turkuaz, will be participating in the event.

There will also be the usual activities such as late night dance parties, as well as new events such as civil rights and mental health conversations.

Bonnaroo has attracted people young and old since 2002, and is not giving up due to the COVID-19 epidemic of 2020.

Instead of 2020’s original pricing below, this virtual event is free.
