Men and women’s golf begins soon for the 2021 season

Tech will host its first men’s and women’s golf tournaments since 2019. Both will be in Sevierville, Tenn. for the eighth annual Bobby Nicols Intercollegiate tournament at Sevierville Golf Club. 

Play will begin on Sunday and play all the way through Tuesday. The women’s golf team will compete on the Highlands Course. The men’s golf team will compete on the River Course.  

Competing for the men’s golf team will be senior Bracton Womack, sophomore Nick Sutton, freshman Mark McDearman, junior Chance Taylor and sophomore Sean Anderson. Individuals competing will be Will Brooks and redshirt senior Dabney Dickenson. 

Competing for the women’s golf team will be purple team consisting of senior Hannah Bratton, junior Heidi Lawson, sophomore Elisabeth Toennessen, freshman Ainsley Simms and sophomore Katrine Toennessen. On the redshirt senior team is senior Arianna Clemmer, sophomore Gittle Sciolis, senior Kate Mashburn, sophomore Makenzie Morton and senior Isabel York. 

Tee time will start at 7:30 a.m. CT.
