Southeastern Missouri stops Tech in their series, winning the final game 8-4

Tech falls to South Missouri in game series

Tech was not able to overcome the odds against Southeast Missouri in the softball game, but they did not go down without a fight. Southeast Missouri beat Tech 8-4 on the series finale against Tech.

Tech (8-10, 3-3 Ohio Valley Conference) tried unsuccessfully to defensively stop the power of the Redhawks (7-9, 5-1 OVC), but they could not.

During their first contest, Tech lost to Southeast Missouri 7-0.  In their second contest, Tech fell 4-1.  In the final contest, the score ended 8-4 in favor of Southeast Missouri. 

Tech will have their next game in Alabama on Wednesday, Mar. 17 as they take on North Alabama in a non-conference contest. There is not a time when it begins just yet, (Gametime not listed at press time) but it will be updated on the website at ttusports.com/sports/sball.
