Upon recomendation, Jackson Street Grill was selected for this week's food review. Our first visit to the restaurant was for lunch where we ordered the Veggie Patch and BBQ Chicken Pizzas. However, the crust came out extremely dark, leaving us greatly dissatisfied. But the Cherry and Turtle Cheesecakes served as scrumpious apologies for the lacking pizza.

In discussion with several friends about our trip to the Grill, we were told to immediately return and try other menu options. These Tech students were fans of the restaurant and were completely disheartened by our lacking review.

So, the next day, we returned to dinner. The waitress remembered our faces, even our drink and salad orders. This time, we chose the Grilled Chicken Breast with a a side of Sun Dried Tomato Pasta Salad and the raviloli.

The Chicken Breast is marinated in special herbs and seaonings overnight and served on a bed of rice and two sides for $9.95.

The chicken was amazingly tender, and the rice was creamy. As a first side, the salad was a perfect portion size, and the Poppyseed dressing is a favorite. The pasta was served cold and had a unique mixture of brocolli, green peppers and tomato.

The ravioli was perfect. The marinara was extremely sweet thanks to a fresh blend of herbs, and the pasta was overstuffed with cheese and spinach. This dish was perfect.

Don't judge Jackson Street Grill by its substandard exterior. Instead, take a step inside and enjoy an amazing dinner.
