Tennessee Tech is calling Zandria Robinson to center stage.
Robinson is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 in the RUC Multipurpose Room.
Robinson, a Memphis native, is a writer and sociologist whose work focuses on inequality in race, class, gender and sexuality, black feminism, popular culture and the media.
She is the author of “This Ain’t Chicago: Race, Class, and Regional Identity in the Post-Soul South,” co-author of “Chocolate Cities: The Black Map of American Life,” co-editor of “Repositioning Race: Prophetic Research in a Postracial Obama Age.”
