The race for Mr. and Miss TTU has officially commenced and candidates are excited to campaign for votes. Tech SGA sponsored an event to meet the candidates on Oct. 23 in Derryberry Hall.
"We are so excited to start this new event for the students as well as the candidates. We want to make sure that each student has the opportunity to hear from the candidates and learn about what they are involved in and why they want to be the next Mr. or Miss Tennessee Tech. I hope this event will encourage students to vote in the election on Oct. 25," Mason Hilliard, SGA president said.
The winners of Mr. and Miss TTU will be announced at the homecoming game on Nov. 3 during halftime.
