He has made threatening remarks to an elementary school girl! Threatening physical harm and humiliation towards her and his threats to be done by other students! An educational instructor, at the local university, encouraging students to inflict physical harm and humiliation on a little girl! I don't see how anyone can call him a professional nor a professor! I call it shameful and an embarrassment!

I received an A in this class. I did the assigned reading, went to every class, and took detailed notes. It was an easy class if you put in the effort. He's a great teacher and really knows the material. He doesn't just ramble about anything, he stays on topic and is engaging.

great teacher ever! If you do your part (read the projects and come to class) then you will recieve a great grade. Lazy students will get what they have earned. All exams are over material covered in class and a study guide is provided.

Bah, I just barely passed. He is very dull and monotone. It's difficult not to fall asleep.

Dollar is the great History teacher I've ever had. He makes you want to listen. He gives 3 exams, including the final, and 3 unannounced tests over the required readings, so try to stay up on your homework and make it to every class. But this class is not dull at all. I like to think of it as a break from the rest of my courses.

So far this is my favorite prof. I've had in college. He gets so into what he's teaching that you can't help but get into it too. Take great notes and fill out his study guides and you'll be fine. Attendance isn't required but I would recommend not missing if you can help it because if you miss one class you're way behind.

By far the great prof. I have had in my college career. Dollar is very passionate about his subject, and presents the information very well. His exams are difficult and challanging, eventhough they are multiple choice. Unless you love history, and already know alot about it, you will need to study. I wish I had him for 2020.

Great prof.. Do the reading projects every night (it helps if you take notes on them). In class, try your great to write down everything he says, word-for-word. exam are a little tricky but not too bad overall. I wish I could take him again for 2020, but his class filled up before I got the chance to sign up.

He is a wonderful teacher. I was never a big history fan, but his courses are so intense that you cannot help but learn. Come to class daily to get the notes and read the book. I liked 2010 so much that I am taking Dollar again for 2020. It also helps that he is pretty great looking....nothing like a little eye candy during the day.

I absolutely liked this guy. He is an amazing teacher. I was told history at tech was virtually impossible to do well in, but this class was wonderful. While, shockingly, you do have to work a little bit for an A, it's not difficult. Go to class, take notes, read when you're suppose to and there's no reason you shouldn't do well. liked this class!

Pros: Great class, Dr. Dollar is an excellent prof.. He truly cares about his students. He wants you to improve and learn. Cons: He can be too critical at times when grading papers. You will feel like you don't know what he wants, but just do your great and improve! He is an educator! Class is tough, but worth it! Great Lecturer!

I had him for 2010 and 2020. His courses are amazing. I looked forward to his 9 am lecture every mwf, and I was not a history person before his class. His exams are not simple, but if you take really great notes and study those over and over you will do fine. 20-25 hours of study time per exam and you will make an A. plus he is a silver fox.

I enjoyed courses quite a bit - engaging with the occasional dash of unexpected levity. Uses a lot of audio and visual aids - pictures, music and movies. There was an awful lot of material covered in the exams, so start studying early. It required a TON of work, but if you do the work you'll be okay. An A's not impossible but pretty difficult. Very he

Great teacher overall, very clear and simple to follow. But you can get behind very easily, just make sure you go to every class and take great notes and you'll be fine. Exams are the courses' notes, so take them serious.
