Very bad teacher. disorganized and confusing. Not accommodating in the least. I tried to meet with her and she never wanted to meet with me.

She's highly knowledgable and tries to challenge you to think about literature, but she doesn't seem to enjoy teaching students. She knew more about what she was teaching than 99% of the prof.s I was lectured by during my time in higher education. If you love Romantic poetry, especially Blake, take her. But she is a disillusioned educator.

This teacher did not work well with her students. She is very opinionated and if you do not agree 100% with her feminist views you will not do well in the class. She was very disorganized and made it very difficult to follow her random notes on the board.

I took Dr. McQuail and I understand that British Lit can be a difficult subject. I worked very difficult and did more work than the majority of others and all extra credit. I went to class with 100% attendance! I had a conference at the end of the sem. she told me I was doing well and I made a D. KEEP ALL COPIES OF GRADES!!!

Most disorganized teacher I have ever had in my 6 semesters and 2 summer semesters in college! VERY disorganized with your grades and her teaching. Notes on board are everywhere and very scattered and do not flow!

VERY disorganized!! her notes on the board are not legible and are very scattered. i worked very difficult in this class and did every assignment and even had meetings to make sure I was doing ok. Even being told I was doing well I made a D. Apparently she thinks that is great....

I have never in my life encountered a worse educator than this one. I am in awe of her lack of organization and general disregard for the attempts of her students to pacify her. I have never worked so difficult at a class and recieved such a bad grade in my academic career. She plays favorites and grades according to her mood. DON'T take her class.

outstanding course. fascinating subject material; friendly class disucssions. projects not too difficult, yet challenging. HW reading every day. accommodating prof. OUTSIDE of class, but she IS SO disorganized! It was difficult to comprehend what exactly she wanted of us. If only her syllabus was a little more clear, I wouldn't have to listen to her at all

Although her grading system is weird, Dr.Mcquail's class was a great one. Yeah you may not be able to keep up with her syllabus, or not understand her viewpoints concerning certain authors; or worse, your own work. However, if u do the assigned readings, pay attention to class, take avid notes, and really study, you're sure to pass.(: It's college!

Don't take this class ever!!! Her grading system is all screwed up. Even if you do all assigned work (making As and Bs), and her research paper, you will not make it out that class without a D or lower. It'll ruin ur GPA. She grades upon her mood at the time, or if she simply likes you from the get-go. But hey, if you're up to, proceed with caution

This is probably one of the most crazy prof.s I have ever had. I'm not just saying this either, she is scattered brained, disorganized, the woman can barely brush her hair in the morning. Please if you enjoy your GPA, do not take this class. She grades purely based on her mood at the time. Take another teacher for brit lit.

I like literature, but this prof. seems to want me to dislike it. Her tests are completely random, asking questions about dates published etc., not really quizzing you on the knowledge of the content at all. Oh, and by the way, she seems to be very opinionated and your opinion is invalid.

Ok this teacher is a joke. Her pop tests are ridiculously difficult and don't have anything to do with what you've been studying. She never follows her syllabus and she only likes you if you have the same opinions she does and if you speak out a lot in her class. I woudn't take her british lit class if you can help it.

She is crazy! She directs class only to students who already know everything about the class. She doesn't care about anyone else in the class. She is selfish and forces her students to do rediculous things that weren't a part of the syllabus to begin with. She thinks that everyone should have the same opinions she does and gets mad when you don't.

Run. Enough said. She is absolutely ridiculous on too many levels. She does not state what she wants, but yet expects you to know. If you have the option of taking someone else, by all means do so. It may be our responsibility to learn, but it is also her responsibility to teach.
