The article "International violinist visits Tech from Afghanistan" in the Nov. 18 edition, states that William Harvey made a proposal to the Taliban to remove their ban on music. Harvey did not make this proposal. The article also states that he was invited to teach violin in Afghanistan by the head of the Ministry of Education. He was actually hired by Dr. Ahmad Sarmast, founder and director of Afghanistan National Institute of Music.

The Oracle regrets the errors.
