Tech baseball finding winning ways as postseason approaches

The Tech baseball team is hitting its stride with a little over a month left in the regular season.They have won four of their last six, including a season best four-game win streak that started with beating Lipscomb and Alabama A&M on the road last week "We have a good club," head coach Matt Bragga said of his team.

Baseball struggles in OVC opener

The Tech baseball team began conference play last weekend as they hosted the OVC leading Jacksonville State Gamecocks (19-9, 4-2) at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex.Tech took the second game of the Saturday doubleheader 8-4, but dropped the first and third game of the series 8-2 and 9-7 respectively.

With 22 games under their belt this season, the Golden Eagles of Tennessee Tech will open up conference play this weekend hosting a huge Ohio Valley Conference rival in the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, beginning with Saturday's double-header event starting at 1 p.

The Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles baseball season is in full swing.They started the season off shaky, losing nine of their first 13 games on the diamond, including series losses to both Eastern Michigan and Ohio."We have a really good baseball team," head coach Matt Bragga said.
